What does my session include?
Each session varies depending on your needs, but I do offer a set of standard packages. Most sessions will include a consultation, a specified time for shooting, a proofs gallery, and the final images. You can request prints or albums after you receive your proofs gallery.
Although clients can print their own images, I recommend asking me about larger sizes or albums. Bigger pieces require additional work to turn out just right!
Do your images have watermarks on them?
Images in your initial proof gallery will have watermarks. You are free to use these images if you wish, but your final images will be edited and high resolution. Final images do not have watermarks on them.
Who owns the copyright to the final images?
As the creator of the images, I own the copyright. I give all my clients personal printing rights, which means you are permitted to print copies for yourself, your friends and your family. You cannot sell the images, or enter them to any contest or publication without my written permission.
How long will it take to get my final images?
How do you deliver them?
Because I am a part-time photographer, turnaround times vary depending on my personal schedule. Turnaround time and delivery also depends on the project.
For portraits or short projects, proof galleries are shared with you online within a few days of your shoot. Once you have chosen your favourites, final images are completed within two weeks and will be delivered digitally or on a USB drive. Some complicated projects may take longer than two weeks to edit.
For weddings, there is no proof gallery. Images can take up to 8 weeks to complete, and will be delivered on a USB drive during an in-person viewing session.
Will you post our images on your website or social media?
Before each session I ask the client if they have a preference. The choice is up to you whether I post your final images on my website or social media. My client information form also asks for your social media handles so I can tag you! Any images I take can be used in a portfolio to show privately to potential clients.
Can I set up an appointment with you before committing to a session?
Yes! If you're interested in a session but have questions or wish to see a portfolio, please contact me. The appointment will be subject to my availability and ease of travel. For convenience, I am also happy to speak with you on Skype or on the phone. I can also send you a .pdf portfolio if you wish to see particular images before committing to a session.
Can I post the images from our session on social media?
I love when clients post and share images from our session. When posting, please do not crop or add a filter to the photo. I always appreciate when you give photo credits and tag me in your posts (s_duffey)

Session prices vary depending on your needs and the time required to fulfill them! If you're unsure, please contact me with a brief summary of what you're looking for. I'll tell you my prices before you need to commit to the session.
For most sessions, I require a 50% down payment before the shoot. The remaining balance is due at the delivery of the final images, and can be paid by cash, cheque or e-transfer. An invoice will be sent to you with your images.
For weddings,I require a $200 booking fee after agreeing to and signing your personalized contract.
